Over twenty years ago (1999 to be exact) a brand new pet company took shape in sunny south Florida. But this was no ordinary pet company. Life’s Abundance was started by a truly visionary couple named Dennis and Carol Berardi. The Berardi’s were successful business owners who came across an article that said dogs and cats had the genetic potential to live between 25 to 30 years given the right nutrition. They couldn’t believe what they were reading. No one had ever promoted such an idea before. It was then that they decided to venture out and start Life’s Abundance.
Prior to starting Life’s Abundance, the Berardi’s had experienced the incredible earning capabilities of an industry known as Network Marketing and fell in love with the concept. Network Marketing had literally freed Dennis and Carol from the daily grind of running a traditional business and provided them the luxury of a flexible lifestyle and unlimited income potential. Therefore, it only seemed natural for the Berardi’s to launch Life’s Abundance as a Network Marketing business.
This proved to be a genius plan. You see, Network Marketing is nothing new (it has been a proven business model for over 70 years) and pet food is nothing new, but when you combine the two together, you have a recipe that can revolutionize the failing pet food industry!
The Berardi’s dreams were realized when they encountered Dr. Jane Bicks DVM. Dr. Bicks was a renowned formulator of pet products and had already written several books on pet nutrition. Additionally, Dr. Bicks had earned many awards including the Outstanding Service to Veterinary Medicine Award as well as three Presidential Citations.
Together, the Berardi’s and Dr. Bicks created the Life’s Abundance brand of dog and cat food as well as a few other supplements and treats. Today, there is an ever expanding line of great tasting, nutritious, and consumable pet products that have proven to be in high demand among their loyal customer base.
